Idea of the Month: April 2005
Chips and snacks are a big business, just look at the sales for Frito Lay. When going for an afternoon snack you have a few options, such as chips, candy, beef jerky, or nuts. Many people like to eat cereal for a snack, but it is not conducive to selling at 7-Eleven and eating while watching a game or driving home from work. Cereal is not sold in individual packs and also it is not easy to eat like a chip. Why not make chips out of cereal. Just make the cereal chip size, such as frootloops that are much larger for eating like a chip. This could be a niche market.
