The New York, Post reports that Howard Stern was infuriated when CBS CEO Les Moonves, included details of Stern's salary at CBS/Infinity throughout the years in the lawsuit CBS filed against the former CBS Radio morning star.According to Page Six of The Post, Stern was first signed by CBS Radio in 1985 for $705,000. By 1996, when his show was (syndicated to) top markets, he was making $39.1 million over five years with another $8.85 million in annual bonuses and stock options. When Stern's contract was extended in 2001, "the base compensation increased to over $58.8 million over the five-year term.”
