Following Movie Sequels

Here is my review for the best sequels, both the follow-up sequel and the third in a series.   Most of the films that are listed in the first set below (#2 movies as good as #1) are not better than the 1st because I realize it is difficult to develop a character and plot and that has to give credit to the 1st film, but these are movies where the second movie was as entertaining as the first in the series.  

There are a few films where the 2nd film is so much better than the first they stand out and I have highlighted these below in red.
